$590 towards $1,000

I thought that the most terrified I have ever been was last year when I was hanging in the air with nothing between the me and the ground but a bungee cord. As horrified as I was, and believe me.... I WAS, it is not the most scared I have ever been.

The truth is, I am absolutely TERRIFIED of needles. Actually, terrified is an understatement. Anyone who has been with me in a medical setting knows how bad it can truly be. Panic attacks ensue, and it sometimes takes me hours to calm down. This all stems from an unfortunate experience in my childhood. The past year has been extremely tough for me medically and my fear has only increased.

That is why this year for my Face Your Fears Challenge I will be facing my fear head on and I will be setting the following goals to help individuals with disabilities be included.

For $1000 raised I will get a piercing.

For $5000 raised I will get a TATTOO.

If you thought last years challenge was entertaining please consider donating to this one. I’m already extremely anxious and I haven’t even posted it. I even waited a few days because I truly had to think it through before making the commitment.

But the FYF Halloween Challenge isn't just about doing something scary; it's about raising money to support NIP in their quest to make the inclusion of children with disabilities the expectation, not the exception.

If I'm going to be scared out of my wits, it HAS to be for a good cause.

Why the sudden burst of bravery? Well, I recently learned that many children with disabilities fear they will never make a friend.

Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for National Inclusion Project, and to making sure no child EVER has to feel this way.

Thank you for your support and for making a difference!
