The spookiest time of year is right around the corner. And to make this October especially scary, I'm joining National Inclusion Project's Face Your Fears Halloween Challenge. After all, I've always wanted to SWIM WITH SHARKS (and manta rays and other BIG fish!) and I figured what better time!
But I need your help.
The FYF Halloween Challenge isn't just about doing something scary; it's about raising money to support NIP in their quest to make the inclusion of children with disabilities the expectation, not the exception.
If I'm going to be scared out of my wits, it HAS to be for a good cause.
Why the sudden burst of bravery? Well, I recently learned that many children with disabilities fear they will never make a friend.
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for National Inclusion Project, and to making sure no child EVER has to feel this way.
Once I reach my fundraising goal I will go on my swimming adventure and have video and pictures to post & share with you! You won't want to miss this: Kim vs Whale Sharks! *gulp*
