I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to be a part of inclusion working as a summer camp volunteer with National Inclusion Project's camp partners, and have experienced first hand, the inclusion of kids with disabilities in inclusive camps, with their peers without disabilities. The National Inclusion Project is an organization that is very dear to me and for the last 15 years they have been helping children with and without disabilities learn, laugh and play TOGETHER but making inclusion the expectation, not the exception.
Now, I'm introducing Tom to the National Inclusion Project! and together we are participating in their "Face Your Fears Challenge." For a while now, we have thought about staying at Lizzie Borden's House, but have been scared to try. But…we're ready to tackle our fears now, while raising money for children with disabilities--but we can't do it without you!
If we reach our goal of raising $1,500.00, we will stay at Lizzie Borden's House!! A spooky challenge for us, but with our friends and family behind us, we know we can do it! No donation is too small and it will go a long way to helping us meet our goal benefiting the National Inclusion Project. It's an honor to be a part of this challenge and support their mission.
