Foundations of Inclusion Training Series (Sept)
Our Foundation of Inclusion Training Series was such a hit in the Spring that we wanted to bring it back for those who missed it. Back-to-school season brings new energy to recreation programs from aftercare to track-out camps and school holidays. This series is designed to meet staff right where they are, turning big concepts into practical, ready-to-use tools for everyday settings. Whether you're onboarding new team members or sharpening skills across the board, these dynamic online workshops (just 90 minutes each) help you create truly welcoming environments and navigate behavior with confidence and intention. From removing barriers to supporting all abilities, each session delivers real strategies your team can apply immediately. Only $25 per person — and registrants get access to the recording for one month after the session, so you can watch at your own pace even if you can't make it live. Register today and build the foundation every inclusive program needs.
Foundations and Fundamentals of Inclusion:
9/21 @ 1:00-2:30p EST
Discover how to turn inclusion from a concept into everyday practice in this interactive training on the Foundations and Fundamentals of Inclusive Practice. Designed for staff at all levels, this session explores what inclusion really means, why it matters, and how every role contributes to creating welcoming, inclusive environments. Participants will gain practical strategies, hands-on tools, and simple “on-the-fly” techniques to adapt activities, remove barriers, and support all individuals—across all abilities—in meaningful ways. Walk away with a mindset shift, ready-to-use resources, and the confidence to make inclusion the expectation, not the exception.
High Impact Positive Behaviors:
9/22 @ 1:00-2:30p EST
Move beyond reacting to behavior and start understanding it in this engaging training on High-Impact Positive Behavior Strategies. Participants will explore how behavior communicates underlying needs and learn practical tools to respond with intention, not reaction. Through real-life scenarios, interactive activities, and easy-to-apply frameworks like the ABCs of behavior, the CARE approach, and the 5 C’s for setting up success, staff will gain strategies to prevent challenges before they arise and confidently navigate them when they do. Walk away with a proactive mindset, ready-to-use techniques, and the skills to create supportive environments where all participants can succeed.
Recordings will be available for 1 month to view on-demand and materials will be sent out to all participants after the session.
